WASC Visit

To all parents, students and staff: in March, 26th-28th, 2012 is the official WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) visit to examine the content of education and practice at our school. This is a wonderful opportunity for Vista Nueva to show its strengths as a small learning community that invests itself heavily in the development of our students.

Vista Nueva Earns WASC Accreditation

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) awarded Vista Nueva Career Technology High School a three-year extended accreditation.   A team effort from staff, teachers, and administration made this a successful journey.  And the success is accredited to the collaboration of all parties involved.

CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam) Software

Students at Vista Nueva Career Technology High School have access to a free software program named, Chariot.  The test preparation software includes information on Math and English Language Arts.

By using Chariot, students will become familiar with the CAHSEE test, format, and subject matter.  Please click here to find out how to access this valuable program.
