From left, Suzy Brusca, Jennifer Jim.

Two teachers will represent Twin Rivers in the 2016-2017 Teacher of the Year program through the Sacramento County Office of Education.

  • Suzy Brusca, 5th Grade Teacher, Frontier Elementary School
  • Jennifer Jim, Music/AVID/AP Music Theory, Foothill High School

The winning teachers took part in an intense selection process earlier this spring that included essays, classroom observations and interviews. The announcement came following an employee recognition dinner that honored districtwide classified employees of the year and teachers of the year that were nominated by their parents, students and colleagues.
